KitchenAid Mixer - KitchenAid K45SS Classic ( Consumer Review )

I got a white one for Christmas presents early and it was used only for the first time in Christmas cookies which are a tradition in my family. In the past year I had my mother aged stand mixer, and I use the hands mixer, which is almost impossible to do so in the recipe. This year, I used my new mixer'm impressed! These cookies, which usually takes long time and eternity, can be made at very short time! And although I do not think that the container-liter 4 1 / 2 is large enough for the whole recipe, I have no problem and room to spare! i'm amazed. Also remains relatively cool by three batches of cookies made.

Before the KitchenAid, does not do much baking. I lean toward the approach to cooking "man": a warm fire, spicy recipes, best as I'm concerned. However, this machine is so satisfying to use as a power tool in the garage. I have not found a job that can be considered for use KitchenAid Stand Mixer not excel. But it is quite good for making bread, and once you start to use it, you will have your oven runs a lot more than you're used to.

The disadvantages: It is heavy. It will not move once it is in place. If you knead the dough very hard, once the pot is pushed to the extent that it is impossible to remove from below. Okay if you remember to leave a little loose before, but I always forget and I end up fighting the machines out. The metal band at the top right of the plate mixer Left a bit loose on my model of the machine gets a little hot after some heavy dough, and I think some have a soft adhesive. It is held in place by any other cause, but occasionally slip when cleaning the machine. This is purely aesthetic of what I know, and that's the only thing that feels cheap in any way on this machine. Also, honestly, I have no complaints.

In short: This is mixer expensive, but well worth it. Even novice cooks will find it fun to use, and inspire you to explore new things you can do before because of time and effort.
